About the School

“Warwick Senior High School is regarded as one of the great public schools in Western Australia…”

Warwick Senior High School is a modern and progressive secondary school located in the northern suburbs of Perth. Ideally situated, it is a school with a strong tradition of academic excellence. Surrounded by well-established bushland, it is close to main roads, public transport, shopping centres and community amenities.

Students typically come from the local primary schools, as well as schools outside of boundary. Students are attracted to Warwick SHS because of the special academic, arts and sporting programs offered, particularly, the Academic Extension Program and the specialist Netball and Football programs.

A comprehensive curriculum is offered at Warwick SHS and includes a range of Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE) courses and programs endorsed by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority. Students work towards achieving their WACE over four semesters in Years 11 and 12. In addition, Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses are available for senior students. Currently, approximately two thirds of Year 11 and 12 students study VET courses.
